Who I am, and why I’m here.

I am taking part in Zero to Hero: 30 Days to a better blog. The first thing we have to do to get a better blog is exactly what the title says. We have been given some questions to answer, so here we go:

Q. Why are you blogging, rather than keeping a personal journal? A. Well, the reason why I’m blogging as I am not too keen on personal journals, I’ve tried many times in the past, but never kept to it. I guessed that blogging would be more fun and I’d be more in to it, which I am. Plus, I don’t mind people reading my blog, that’s a main reason why I am blogging, I don’t mind people from different places all over the world getting a look in to my life.

Q. What topics do you think you’ll write about? A. If my blog goes far and people are genuinely interested in my blog, then I would let the readers decide. I have offered this in my Blogger blog, but had no replies. So really, I just hope to keep interested readers happy by blogging about what they want to hear.

Q. Who would you love to contact with via your blog? A. During my time blogging, I would love to come in contact with other bloggers with the same kind of blog as me, I want to hear their story and they manage to cope with their mental health issues. They may not be the same as mine, but I would love to be in contact with other people, like I have done already, I now have 2 internet friends who have blogs, just because we all have one.

Q. If you blog successfully throughout 2014, what would you hope to have accomplished? A. During my time blogging throughout 2014, I hope to have made some more blogging friends, I hope to give people who do not a full understanding of mental health, a better understanding. And readers who will accompany me through 2014 and maybe more years to come.

  1. i see you’re doing the zero to hero. I started a blog yesterday. I also used to journal, like you, I don’t mind if someone gets perspective of me through my words, and life. Maybe it will help. I struggle with mental illness also. May the new year bring Great things.

    • Yes, and I agree I don’t mind people looking in to my life, just as long as they are respectful. And blogging may help us both in some way, I hope that it helps you during this year, and maybe many more years to come 🙂

  2. As a fellow OCD sufferer, I am looking forward to hearing more from you 😀 Also this site is way better than blogspot, far more interactive even as a newbie!

    • Hello! Glad to hear that you are interested in this blog! The only reason I keep mentioning my Blogger blog is mainly because I started that off way before this blog, so my Blogger blog has many more posts and info about my life and so on, I’m hoping this blog will match up to it at some point! Hope to hear more from you! 🙂
